It comes pre-seasoned and ready to use. The price is remarkably stable across retailers, rarely varying by more than $3-4. Amazon and Target tend to have the best everyday prices.
One common mistake: people buy cast iron and then baby it. Modern pre-seasoned Lodge pans are tough. Use them daily, clean with hot water and a stiff brush, and they'll develop a better nonstick surface over time than any Teflon pan.
5. Braun MultiQuick 5 Immersion Blender
An immersion blender does 80% of what a full-size blender does at a fraction of the cost and storage space. The Braun MultiQuick 5 hits the sweet spot at $40-50.
